The 2011 International Conference on Geofoam Blocks in Construction Applications was recently held in Lilestrom, Norway. The conference provided updates on the latest research and activities pertaining to EPS Geofoam use througout the world. The conference location was very close to the project location where the use of Geofoam was pioneered by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in 1972.
Todd Bergstrom, Ph.D. and V.P. of AFM Corporation representated Foam-Control EPS as the only U.S. manufacturer present at the conference.
